Why the seed

Most soap is a story of oils. Ours is a story of the whole fruit. The avocado seed — the part every kitchen throws away — is dried, ground, and folded into each bar by hand. It gives the soap its warm, earthy color and a gentle, scrub-like texture you will not find in a mass-market bar.
Handmade avocado seed soap is rare. There is no factory shortcut for it, because there is no factory in it. What you feel in the shower is the same simple process our family uses at the sink: seed, lather, rinse, and the quiet of a thing made properly.

How to make it last
A handmade bar with no synthetic hardeners is a living object. Let it dry between uses on a draining dish — not a flat ledge — and keep it out of the direct spray. Used this way, a bar rewards you with weeks of daily washing and a texture that only improves as it dries.
Store spare bars in a cool, dry drawer, wrapped in their kraft paper. They will age like good soap should: firmer, milder, longer-lasting.
